Studies of a line exercise whereby mark and form tell stories. Over the course of a few days I draw a series of mark focused drawings - in absence of thought, somewhat automatic, serving as a textured journal. Each piece resembles a different emotive response.  The marks can evoke different atmospheres, holding specific characteristics of, line quality, shapes, & intensity.
 
When experienced together, with uniformed shape & size, side by side, the journal effect is more prominent and drawings are easily compared. This series serves as snapshots of mental states at the point of creation.
